To Jesus: Thanks for being a friend
He is my friend. You can be friends with him too!

Hello Jesus,
I'm so glad that you are my friend. You are the only person who can understand me. You read my mind and understand everything I'm thinking. I noticed that in the Bible, you said you call us your friends.
John 15:15 - I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.
Jesus, I know some people who I wish I could be friends with, but I don't know how to approach them or become friends with them. Sometimes it seems like when I choose friends, they don't choose me back. The most awesome thing about you, Jesus, is that you chose me to be your friend, I didn't choose you first:
John 15:16 - It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.
Jesus, it is so wonderful to be chosen by you as a friend. I can see from reading the Gospels that you particularly like to be friends with societal outcasts. I can see that you empathize with us (autistic people) very much, because you went through the awfulness of not fitting into the rest of the world and being rejected.
John 1:11 - He came to what was his own, but his own people did not accept him.
Isaiah 53:3 - He was spurned and avoided by men, a man of suffering, knowing pain, like one from whom you turn your face, spurned, and we held him in no esteem.
I am sorry that you went through that, Jesus. I love you so much, Jesus, because you loved me first. Thank you.
Goodbye Jesus,
I will write to you again soon,
Rebecca
